Our Motto: “Make World”

At Lattice, we believe the world is something we get to help make. Every time a teacher shows up with presence and care, every time two people meet across a line that once divided them, the world changes a little. It becomes more known. More connected. More whole.

Our work begins with teachers because teaching is one of the most human things we do. It’s patient, generous, and often invisible. We believe that supporting teacher well-being, especially across cultures, is a way of caring for something much larger: the relationships that hold communities together.

We focus first on Romania, a place full of intellect, resilience, and beauty. A place long tied to the United States through values, history, and quiet admiration. And we work to build something enduring between our two countries—not through grand gestures, but through careful relationships. Conversations. Time.

Everything we do is shaped by a simple belief: Make world.

That’s our motto. Not because the world is unfinished, but because we are always becoming. Each act of welcome, each exchange of knowledge, each choice to show up with care, all adds to the shape of things.

Our Values

At Lattice, our work is shaped by more than mission. It’s shaped by how we move—what we notice, what we honor, and how we show up. These are the values that guide us.

Follow Energy

Let momentum and meaning guide you.
We trust what feels alive. When an idea, a person, or a moment carries energy, we follow it. It keeps our work grounded in purpose, not just plans.

Show Up with Care

Presence is our greatest offering.
We treat every interaction as a chance to build trust. Whether it’s a classroom, a conversation, or a new beginning, we meet it with attention and respect.

Stand With Each Other

Through the wins, the changes, and the hard parts.
Support means staying close—when things go well and when they don’t. We celebrate progress, hold space for challenge, and walk together through uncertainty and hardship.

Own Our Part

Accountability is strength.
We take responsibility for what’s ours. We say “I’m sorry” when we miss the mark. We believe that honesty—especially in the small moments—is the foundation of trust.

Begin with Well-Being

Healthy teachers build healthy communities.
We put teacher wellness at the center, not the margins. Emotional, cultural, and personal well-being aren’t side benefits—they’re the conditions for everything else.

Let It Take Root

What lasts starts deep.
We don’t rush relationships. We build slowly, with care, because strong things grow from strong foundations. When something is rooted, it can weather change—and keep growing.
