Why Teach with Lattice?

This program is about more than just teaching—it’s about exchange. You’ll bring your voice, your experiences, and your perspective into American classrooms while learning from a different education system and culture in return. It’s a two-way journey of growth.

By participating, you will:

  • Step into the role of an international educator, sharing your expertise while learning new approaches that can shape your teaching for years to come.

  • Have the opportunity to bring your family with you. Spouses and children are welcome to accompany you during your time in the program.

  • Immerse yourself in daily life in the U.S., not just as a visitor, but as a neighbor, colleague, and friend.

  • Teach full-time in a U.S. K–12 school for three years, with the option to extend for two more. You’ll be treated as a peer to American educators, with equivalent responsibilities, working hours, and pay.

This is your chance to be part of something bigger—an exchange that leaves a lasting mark on both sides.
