  • State licensure eligibility (we support this process)

School Considerations

Any accredited U.S. K–12 public, private, or charter school may host Lattice teachers. Requirements include:

  • Full-time roles (minimum 32 hours/week)

  • Positions must begin at the start of the academic year

  • Teacher responsibilities must mirror those of similarly situated U.S. teachers

  • Collective bargaining agreements, if applicable, must be honored

Teacher Screening Process

Every teacher we partner with goes through a rigorous screening process that includes:

  • English fluency interview

  • Academic credential evaluation

  • Teaching experience verification

  • Cultural adaptability assessment

  • State licensure review

  • Background check

Our team works directly with international teacher training institutes to ensure teachers are both qualified and ready to succeed.

FAQs

  • All teachers meet the minimum two-year teaching requirement, and most far exceed it. Many hold master’s degrees and bring a deep commitment to student learning.

  • Yes. We require advanced English proficiency and personally interview each teacher before they’re accepted into the program. Schools also conduct their own interviews before hiring.
